Story
Najdah aims to provide high-quality clean services by employing professional workers and ensuring efficient work procedures. They already have a mobile app, but they started to get negative feedback about the accessibility of the mobile app. The rate of user retention is very low, So the Product Manager after industry research recommends designing a website, Where the services can be accessible via a browser and improve the issues complained about in the mobile app.
Goal
We need to propose new user flow recommendations to enhance user retention and improve the usability of the Najdah mobile app and turn it into a website to enhance accessibility.

Scope
1- Identify possible causes of low user retention rate.
2- Analyze the usability of competitors-related booking processes.
3- Recommended usability improvements in the user flow.
4- launch browser solution for web and mobile.
Primary users and their goals
The Mobile app operated under B2C model. The core users are
Working professionals and Housewives

Findings & Pre-research
I attempted to start by preparing for a user interview, but I couldn't proceed due to the lack of budget to recruit target users. The product manager emphasized that our main goal is to convert the mobile app to a web design. Therefore, I collected feedback from the Google Store and work on addressing any issues to avoid on the web design.

Faciliting usability audit to identify pain points on mobile app

(Just Life - and Clean Express )

For Indirect competitors. i would observe the features and services. Examples of direct competitors: (sponges app-Hourly cleaner in Riyadh: شركات تنظيف المنازل بالساعه )

I created wireframes, and show it for team before going to the next step
Process: I had multiple rounds of wireframes. I showed it first to my project manager and reviewed it with a developer team after some revision.

because of the team layoff.
Final thoughts & takeaways
Flexibility and adaptability is essential in UX research.
Despite the limited budget, I have been working with all available research methods that don't require an additional budget. I believe If I had an opportunity for testing and iteration. I can make designs that help users and business need.
Document your design
I didn't document my projects while working on them, and that's a mistake I often made. Nowadays, I try to make a habit of documenting my process. It helps me organize my ideas quickly and serves as a valuable resource for the future.
